33rd Annual Management Convention on the theme-“The New Rule of Business Survival in the Era of Killer Competition

Baroda Management Association organized its 33rd Annual Management Convention on the theme- The New Rule of Business Survival in the Era of Killer Competition” on 25th and 26th February, 2022. The Speakers included Industry Leaders, Economic Analyst and Lifestyle coaches who gave an insight to the participants about the current state of our Business.

Mr. Dipak Shah , President of Baroda Management Association in her welcome speech aptly explained the need for this very specific theme of the convention that business are reeling under uncertainties in the prevailing conditions , so Strategic view points from national leaders would add greater value to forward path for businesses. The chief guest and Keynote speaker for the event was Dr. Narendra Jadhav, Chief Economist, RBI Former Vice Chancellor Of Pune University. BMA President – Mr. Dipak Shah, welcomed the chief guest and Keynote speaker. Dr. Jadhav formally inaugurate the function. In his highly inspiring Key Note Speech, Dr Narendra Jadhav mentioned that Perspective of Economist on Indian Economy. “How sustainable is economy”. and “How to ensure Vigorous and sustainable economic growth”.

The Guest of Honor for the event was Dr. Ajay Ranka, CMD, Zydex Industries Private Limited, Vadodara.

The event for the 2nd day (26.02.2022) opened with sharing the Schedule for the day by Mr. Nimil Baxi, Vice- President, BMA. The Speakers included Mr. Mr. Rajesh Srivastava, Former CEO JK Helene Curtis, Adjunct Faculty IIM Indore(08-15),Penguin Best Selling Author of ‘The New Rules of Business who spoke about , Dr. Suryanarayan Iyer, Senior Director, Solution Engineering, Oracle, Mumbai. He spoke about “Reinventing Business strategy and Dealing with corporate uncertainty”. Mr. Chinmay Naik, Director – Transaction Advisory, K C Mehta & Company, Vadodara. He spoke about “Differentiate or die and Legacy hardly Matter”. Moderator for first session was Mr. Sagar Mehta, Head Cambe Unit, Hindustan Oil Exploration Co. Ltd. Vadodara. Mr. Sundara Rajan, Founder & Director, Thomas Assessment India and market Search India, Mumbai. He spoke about “Disrupt Your Business at Regular Interval and Doing Business in more Extreme, Unstable world”. Mr. Ashok Jambur , Member, Advisory Board of Human Development Society, New Delhi and Advisor, New Business & Sustainability with Sarvatra Integrated Management Services, Gurgaon. He spoke about ” • Thriving on chaos and leading in uncertain time. Moderator for second session was Mr. Samir Parikh , Past President, Baroda Management Association and MD & CEO, Naman Integrated Management Services Pvt. Ltd. Vadodara. Prof. Mani R S S, Vice President, Institutional Development at ITM Group of Institutions & Former President, BMA, Mumbai. He spoke about “Transformation of Individuals to being admired leaders”. Mr. Sumit Varghese , SPHR Founding Partner, Your HR Buddy, Ahmadabad. He spoke about Building Resilient And Fragile Organization, Creating Future ready organization for inclusion growth. Moderator for third session was Mr. Sandeep Purohit [Past President, Baroda Management Association, Vadodara and Senior Vice President and HR and Board Of Directors GATL (GSFC Agrotech Ltd. Vadodara).
